I find inspiration for my designs in a wide variety of places - fine tailored menswear, vintage work-wear, 60's couture, modern architecture, Scandinavian interior design, Japanese gardens, New England coastline, and the Scottish Highlands.
While indigo and denim form the foundation of each season's fabric choices, a variety of factors go into choosing fabrics and trims: fiber sustainability, small and family owned mills, dead stock availability, and waste reduction.
The initial design is drafted by hand, then cut and sewn as a sample garment to be fitted on a live model, making certain to achieve the best final result possible. The garment is the sent to our grader to be sized.
Each garment is cut to order, helping us reduce production waste and allowing us to incorporate any necessary bespoke measurements, creating a finished garment that is finely crafted just for you.
Careful selection has gone into our packaging. Biodegradable labels with environmentally friendly inks, 100% recycled kraft paper and home compostable soft mailers - all efforts to be responsible stewards of our beautiful planet.
As an independent designer it is my joy to create fun, beautiful handmade garments from high quality natural fabrics that you will treasure for years to come.
